Frequently Asked Questions.

Some of the most asked questions.

The process of finding your wedding florist is really exciting but can also be a bit daunting. Chances are you haven’t done this before and don’t know where to start, so below are some questions that I get asked quite a lot! Hopefully this will help in the initial stages, but if not then please get in touch and I’ll guide you through how it all works.

Where do I start?

I would suggest writing a list of all your favourite flowers, and colours along with a list of your requirements - including number of guests, how many bridesmaids you’ll be having and any ideas on ceremony and venue decoration.
If you have any images of flowers you like, or perhaps a Pinterest board then these are also really helpful.

Do I need to make an appointment to meet you?

Not necessarily (although I do love meeting all my couples). We can have an initial chat over the phone about your ideas and then we can meet up either at my studio or at your chosen venue to discuss further. Some clients choose not to meet me at all, it’s all a personal preference!

What happens after the initial chat?

I will put together a proposal which includes images and prices. This tends to take a couple of days, and I will email it back for you to look through and put together a list of questions or comments.
Once you're happy with the proposal it's a good idea to make the booking fee deposit to secure the date in my diary, we can discuss the finer details up until two weeks before your wedding.

Do you ask for a booking fee?

Yes, I ask for a 20% booking fee deposit on confirmation of your order.

Do you have a minimum spend?

My minimum spend is £2000 for a full wedding package - including personal flowers, ceremony arrangements and reception flowers.

We will consider any brief, so please email us at hannah@hannahmartin.net with your ideas and we’ll let you know if we can help.

When is the final payment due?

I ask for the final payment two weeks before your wedding, after this has been received I will place the order for your flowers and starting prepping your vases and other props.

Where are you based?

My studio in on the riverside in Walton-on-Thames in Surrey although I work everywhere!
